Arkline Design is a small web design studio. We collect as little as possible, and this page explains all of it in plain language.
What we collect, and why
The project brief. If you send us a brief through the Start a project page, we receive what you typed: your name, email, and anything you chose to share about your company and project. We use it for exactly one thing: reading your brief and replying to you. Submissions are delivered through Netlify Forms and stored in our Netlify account.
Email. If you email brody@arklinedesign.com, we have your email. We use it to reply.
Anonymous visit counts. We use Plausible Analytics, which is built to avoid personal data. It counts visits and pages without cookies, without storing your IP address, and without following you across the web. We cannot identify you from it, by design.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not send marketing email. The only messages you will get from us are replies to something you sent first.
Cookies
We set no tracking cookies. The site stores one small flag in your browser so the intro animation plays only once per visit. It contains no personal information and identifies nothing.
Third parties we rely on
The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs. If you book a call, scheduling happens on Calendly and their privacy policy applies to what you enter there. Fonts are served by Google Fonts.
How long we keep things
Briefs and emails are kept while we are talking or working together, and deleted when they are no longer needed. If you want yours gone sooner, ask.
Your rights
Email brody@arklinedesign.com at any time to see what we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We will do it promptly, no forms, no friction.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
