What we treat, and what a visit for it looks like.

Every row on this page has a length, a price and a typical number of visits. The number is a guess until your first visit. After that it is written on your plan, and it is yours to hold us to. Not sure which row is yours? Book a first visit and we will tell you on the day.

Where does it hurt?

Find yours in the list. Each one points to the visit to book. If two of them fit, or none does, book a first visit and we sort it out in the room.

Which visit do I book?

Eight visits. Each row shows what happens in the room, how long it takes, what it costs, who sees most of it, and the typical number of visits. Typical means a guess until you have been seen. Then it goes on paper.

  • First visit

Where most people start, whatever hurts. Ten minutes where you tell us what happened and what you want back. Fifteen where we look, test, and explain what we found in words you can repeat at home. Fifteen of treatment, so something is done today. Five to write your plan down, with the number of visits we expect. If you are not sure physio is what you need, book this one. We tell you on the day, and you pay for one visit.

  • Follow-up

The usual visit after the first one. Hands-on treatment, a check on how the home exercises are going, and the plan updated on the paper you took home. Most people have 3 to 7 of these. Students and seniors pay $65.

  • Longer follow-up

A follow-up with 15 more minutes. For two problems at once, a setback, or a plan that needs rewriting. You do not have to guess which one to book. Your physiotherapist tells you if you need this instead of the 30-minute visit.

  • After surgery, first visit

For a new knee, hip or shoulder, or after a repair. Bring the sheet from the hospital and your surgeon's instructions, because we plan around the dates on it. The hour goes on what moves, what does not yet, and what is safe to start this week. Typically 8 to 12 visits over 8 to 12 weeks.

  • Dizziness and balance assessment

For dizziness when you roll over in bed or look up, feeling unsteady, or a fear of falling. Hana explains each test before she does it, and you can say stop at any point. Some of the tests bring the dizziness on for a moment, so bring someone to drive you home from the first one if you can. Often 2 to 4 visits.

  • Running and sport assessment

For a running or gym injury, or a pain that comes back every season. Daniel watches you move, then changes the training rather than stopping it where he can. Bring the shoes you run in. Typically 3 to 5 visits.

  • Pelvic health, first visit

For leaking, pelvic pain, and recovery after having a baby. This one is booked by phone, not online, so Hana can answer your questions first. The call takes about five minutes and you can ask anything. Nothing happens in the room that she has not explained first, and you can say stop at any point. To book, call (555) 555-0187.

  • Home visit

For people who cannot get to the clinic, within Tarrow Bay. Maya comes to you with what she needs, and the visit runs the way it would here: you talk, she looks and tests, treatment starts, and the plan goes on paper. Call to arrange one. We check the day and the address together on the phone. Call (555) 555-0187.

    Call to book

These prices were written for this demo. No tax is added to physiotherapy. Cancel or move a visit 24 hours ahead by phone or text and there is no charge. With less notice, or if you do not come, the fee is $40. Pelvic health and home visits are booked by phone: (555) 555-0187.

What if physio is not what I need?

We say so on visit one, and we tell you who to see.

Some things need imaging, a doctor, or a different specialist before physiotherapy can help. If yours is one of them, we say so at the first visit. You pay for one visit, not a course, and you leave knowing who to see next and what to tell them.

There is no open-ended treatment here. Every plan has a number of visits on it, and a review on visit 3 where we decide together to finish, keep going, or send you to someone better placed. We do not sell maintenance plans you did not ask for. If you want to keep coming once the plan is done, that is your decision, and we will say plainly whether we think it will help.

If something changes between visits and it worries you, call. Jules at the desk can get a physiotherapist to the phone during opening hours, and that call costs nothing.

What do I do between visits?

Your home program is three exercises, about ten minutes a day. They are written on your plan with how many and how often, so there is nothing to remember and nothing to look up. At each follow-up we check how they went and change them if they are not doing their job.

Questions people ask on the phone

Six of them, with the answers we give.

Do I need a referral?

In most provinces, no. You can book a physiotherapist directly. Some extended health plans want a doctor's note before they pay, so tell us the name of your plan when you book and we check before your first visit. If you already have a referral, bring it.

Will it hurt?

Mostly no. A few tests and some hands-on work are uncomfortable for a moment, and we tell you before anything that might be. You can say stop at any point and we stop. Nothing is done in the room that has not been explained first.

Do you use needling?

Yes. Dry needling is done within a visit, at no extra charge, and only if you want it. If you would rather not, say so. Your plan does not depend on it.

Can I keep running?

Usually, yes. Most people can keep moving while they get better. Daniel would rather change what you do, how far or how often, than stop you doing it. Bring the shoes you run in.

How many visits will I need?

We tell you at the end of the first visit and write it down. Most people have 3 to 7 follow-ups after the first one. After surgery it is typically 8 to 12 visits over 8 to 12 weeks. Dizziness is often 2 to 4. On visit 3 we look at the number together and decide whether to finish, keep going, or send you to someone better placed.

Can I pick my physiotherapist?

Yes. Maya, Daniel and Hana each mostly see different things, and their days are on the Team page. Pick a name at the first step of booking, or leave it on whoever is free soonest. The one you start with is the one you keep.

Book a first visit.

45 minutes, $115, no referral needed. You leave with the plan written down.

Not sure physio is what you need? Call and ask. The call is free and takes about five minutes.

Why it’s built this way

  1. Named as a patient asks for it, priced on the row The rows are labelled with what a patient asks for, so first visit, follow-up and running and sport assessment, not the chart terms behind them, because a person cannot book what they do not recognize. Beside each name sit the minutes, the dollars, which physiotherapist sees most of that kind of case, and a Book this button that opens the booking flow with the visit already selected, so nobody hunts for the same item again on the next page. Under the row, a stub of the plan card shows the typical number of visits, small and labelled typical. A range like that removes nobody who was going to come, and lets everyone else book with a rough total in mind instead of fearing an open-ended course.
  2. A paragraph on what physio is not for A visitor unsure whether they are in the right place reads this section before anything else. It says, in plain words, when physiotherapy is not the right next step: when the problem needs imaging first, a doctor, or a different specialist, and who to see instead. The common alternative is to treat everything and let the patient work it out over six visits. This clinic would rather you pay for one visit and a straight answer. That reads as confidence, which it is, and it cuts the first appointments that go nowhere. It also works where the website never sees it: a family doctor deciding where to refer remembers the clinic that admitted its limits, because that is the one that will send the patient back.
