Book a visit.
Three steps, about a minute. Or call (555) 555-0187 and Jules will do it with you.
If you do not know which visit to pick, choose Not sure at step 1. It books a first visit, 45 minutes for $115, and we work out the rest when you are here.
You can go back at any step, and nothing is set until you press the last button.
This is a demo. The times below are worked out from today's date, and the last step will tell you that nothing was booked.
Three steps, one question each.
Which visit, when, and who are you. The soonest open time is already picked and Whoever is free soonest is the default, so if you have no preference the only things you type are a name and a number. Go back at any step and your other answers stay. The plan card fills in as you go, so you read your own choice back before you press the button.
Book by phone
Call (555) 555-0187 during opening hours and Jules will book it with you. Or use the form below.
Pelvic health and home visits are booked by phone.
This is a demo. Nothing was sent and nothing was booked. Heronwater does not exist.
What happens after I book?
Four things, in order, on the real site. In this demo none of them happen, because nothing is sent.
- A text within a minuteRight after you book
- It repeats the visit, the day, the time, who you are seeing and the price, so you can check it against what you meant. Keep it. Replying to it is the easiest way to change the time.
- A one-page form, on your phoneAny time before your visit
- The text carries a link to a short form: what hurts, when it started, the medicines you take, and the name of your extended health plan if you have one. Fill it in when you have a minute. If you would rather do it on paper, arrive 5 minutes early and Jules will hand it to you.
- A reminder the day beforeThe day before
- One text with the time and who you are seeing. If you need to move or cancel, tell us 24 hours ahead by phone or text and there is no charge. With less notice, or if you do not come, it is $40, and your plan does not cover it.
- Arrive 5 minutes earlyOn the day
- Park behind the building, it is free, or take the 14 bus, which stops outside. The front door is step-free. Give your name at the desk, show your extended health plan card if you have one, and take a seat. The wait is short.
To change a time, reply to the text or call (555) 555-0187 during opening hours. In this demo no text is sent and no form opens, because nothing was booked.
What do I wear, and what do I bring?
Clothes you can move in, and any paper you already have. None of it is required. Come with nothing and we still start on time.
- Shorts, or a loose topEveryone
- Shorts for a knee, hip or ankle. A tank top or a loose shirt for a neck or shoulder. If you would rather not change, wear something loose and we work around it.
- Your extended health plan cardIf you have one
- Jules bills most plans at the desk and you pay the part they do not cover, usually $0 to $25. Put the name of your plan in the note when you book and we check it before your first visit.
- Imaging reports, or the sheet from the hospitalIf you have them
- After surgery, bring the hospital sheet and your surgeon's instructions. We plan around the dates on it. If you have nothing, come anyway.
- A list of the medicines you takeEveryone
- Names and doses, on paper or on your phone. It is easier than remembering them at the desk.
- The shoes you run inRunning and sport assessment
- We watch you move in them, so bring the pair you run in most, not the new ones.
- Someone to drive you homeDizziness and balance assessment
- For the first visit, if you can. The tests can leave you unsteady for a while afterwards.
- A referralOnly if you already have one
- In most provinces you do not need one to see a physiotherapist. If your plan wants a doctor's note before it pays, we tell you before your first visit.
- 5 minutes earlyOn the day
- For the one-page form at the desk, if you did not fill it in on your phone. Free parking is behind the building. The 14 bus stops outside.
Some things should not wait for us.
If any of these is happening now, call 911 or go to emergency. Do not book with us first.
- New numbness in both legs
- Or new weakness in both legs at once.
- Loss of bladder or bowel control
- Anything new, especially with back pain.
- A fall with a possible fracture
- If the fall was hard and something might be broken, it needs an X-ray, not us.
- Chest pain
- Any chest pain that is new. It is not a physiotherapy question.
- A sudden, severe headache
- Sudden and severe. Do not wait to see if it settles.
We treat backs, knees, shoulders and the rest, and we are the wrong people for the list above. Once you have been seen and told it is safe, book with us for what comes after.
If you are not sure whether it can wait, treat it as if it cannot.
