What will it cost?

Every price is on this page, and no tax is added.

The length of each visit sits beside its price, so you can see what the number buys. A first visit is 45 minutes for $115. Most visits after that are 30 minutes for $85.

If your extended health plan covers physiotherapy, we bill it at the desk and you pay the difference, usually $0 to $25. If you have no plan, the table is what you pay, and a receipt comes by email the same day.

How much is each visit?

Most people pay $115 for the first visit and $85 for each follow-up.

The typical number of visits is a guess until your first visit. After that it is written on your plan, and you can hold us to it.

Does my plan cover this?

If your extended health plan covers physiotherapy, we bill it at the desk and you pay the part it does not, usually $0 to $25 a visit.

Most extended health plans can be billed directly. Tell us the name of your plan when you book. Some plans want a doctor's note before they pay, and we check that before your first visit, so nothing is a surprise at the desk.

You pay your share by debit, credit or cash while you put your coat on.

Direct billing
Jules sends the claim from the desk before you leave. You pay whatever the plan leaves, usually $0 to $25.
If we cannot bill your plan
You pay for the visit and a receipt is emailed the same day, ready to send in yourself.
Workplace injury and car accident claims
These have their own paperwork. Call us first and Jules at the desk will walk you through what is needed before you come in.
Receipts
One is emailed the same day, whether we billed your plan or not. Ask at the desk for a year-end summary for tax time.
Cancelling or moving a visit
Tell us 24 hours ahead by phone or text and there is no charge. With less notice, or if you do not come, the fee is $40, and your plan does not cover it.
What we never ask for online
Plan numbers, health card numbers and dates of birth are taken at the desk, not on this website.

What happens at the desk?

You show a card, Jules does the rest, and you pay the small part your plan leaves.

Pay the difference
Usually $0 to $25, by debit, credit or cash. The receipt is in your email before you reach the car.

If we cannot bill your plan, step 3 is the whole visit, and the receipt still arrives the same day.

What should I bring?

Your plan card, something you can move in, and any paperwork you already have.

Your extended health plan card
If you have one. We read what we need from it at the desk.
Clothes you can move in
Shorts for a knee, hip or ankle. A tank top or loose shirt for a neck or shoulder.
Any imaging reports or the sheet from the hospital
If you have them. You do not need to get one before you come.
A list of the medicines you take
The names are enough, on paper or on your phone.
The shoes you run in
For a running and sport assessment. We watch you move in them.
A referral, only if you already have one
In most provinces you do not need one to see a physiotherapist. Some plans ask for a doctor's note before they pay; tell us your plan's name when you book and we check.
Five minutes
Arrive 5 minutes early. There is a one-page form to fill in at the desk.

Coming after surgery? The sheet from the hospital and your surgeon's instructions matter most. We plan around the dates on it.

What if I need to cancel?

Tell us 24 hours ahead by phone or text and there is no charge. Moving a visit counts the same as cancelling one. With less notice, or if you do not come, the fee is $40, and your plan does not cover it.

Is there a reduced rate?

Yes. Students and seniors pay $65 for a 30-minute follow-up instead of $85. The reduced rate is for follow-ups; the first visit is $115 for everyone.

Can you split a visit between two plans?

Yes. We bill your primary plan first, then send what is left to the secondary. Bring both cards.

What if my plan runs out partway through?

We keep count with you and say so before it runs out, so the choice is yours before a bill arrives, not after. Most courses here are 3 to 7 follow-ups, so we can usually tell you early whether the plan will cover them.

How can I pay?

Debit, credit or cash, at the desk, at the end of the visit. No cheques.

Do I get a receipt for tax time?

A receipt is emailed the same day, whether we billed your plan or not. Ask at the desk for a year-end summary.

Why it’s built this way

  1. Every price on one page, including the missed-visit fee Someone searching physio near me has three tabs open. Two say contact us for pricing. The third says $115 for 45 minutes, and that is the one that gets the call. So this is a short ruled table: each visit, its length beside its price so the number reads as time bought, no tax, a reduced rate for students and seniors, and the $40 missed-visit fee in the same table as everything else. Most clinics leave that fee for the invoice, where it turns a loyal patient into a one-star review. Printing it costs nothing and removes the surprise. When a price moves, this row changes first, and the same figure on Home, Services and Book is changed with it, so the site never quotes two numbers for one visit.
  2. Direct billing as three steps at the desk A row of insurer logos tells a patient nothing about their Tuesday. They want to know what they do and what they pay. So the section is three steps: show your card, we submit the claim while you put your coat on, you pay whatever is left, usually $0 to $25. Naming that usual range is the sentence that gets a hesitant person to book, because the fear was never the $115, it was the unknown. The section also says plainly that plan numbers, health card numbers and dates of birth are taken at the desk and never typed into this website. That is the honest answer to a real worry, and the reason the booking form asks for little beyond a name and a mobile number.
